Cultural Activities for children at Tata Memorial Hospital

There is no question that It is the doctors who treat patients and give them a chance at life, but it isn’t a necessity to be a medical professional to help cancer patients. So we at Life Wins Foundation tried to bring a smile to the faces of small kids dealing with cancer. These kids face a lot as they stay away from their homes, school & friends.

I. We collaborated with Movies Now Channel of the Times Network and organised an event called “Superheroes” on 22nd August 2017. These children battling cancer every day are the real superheroes and, in an effort, to commemorate their bravery we organised an event themed around superheroes. These kids love superheroes like Batman & Iron Man and we wanted to give them a chance to meet these superheroes, so we got costume players dressed as their favourite superheroes to meet them. A talent hunt was also organised where they got to showcase their talents.

II. To instil a sense of hope in these brave kids waging a war against cancer, we partnered with Mithibai Kshitij and organised an interactive program on 26th September 2017, for children undergoing cancer treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital. The kids had a jovial time and were tendered with love and care. It was our immense pleasure to have helped enrich the lives of these kids and give them hope and positivity.

III.  As we do every year, we partnered with Mithibai Kshitij and organised a fun-filled event on 11th September 2018 for the paediatric patients at the Tata Memorial Hospital. We organised dance performances, magic show & a Juggler Show. We also played interactive games with the children. The event ended with the distribution of snack boxes & gifts.

IV. We collaborated with Kshitij to spend a day with over 50 paediatric cancer patients on 16th October 2019. We wanted to appreciate these lionhearts for their bravery at fighting this disease and their unbreakable spirit. We brought a smile to their faces with varied fun-filled activities and games; the children were extremely happy and also shook a leg with team Kshitij & Life Wins Foundation.
