Most Prevalent Cancer

Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the
breast. The damaged cells can invade surrounding tissue, but with early detection and
treatment, most people continue a normal life.

Cervix (mouth of the uterus) cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in
the tissues of the cervix. The damaged cells can invade surrounding tissue, but with
early detection and treatment, most people continue a normal life.

 Oral cancer appears as a growth or sore in the mouth that does not go away. Oral cancer, which includes cancers of the lips, tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth, hard and soft palate, sinuses, and pharynx (throat), can be life threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.
